Your food situation and what you have access to and thus can bring may also depend on your camp. Find out from your camp if you’ll have coolers, fridge access that gives you the option to bring nonperishable foods.
Less food is better. You’re appetite will all over the place and you need as much as you think. There are also other food options around the playa. Bring enough to eat for each meal. But don’t worry about over doing it. Think single packs, light weight, things to sack on, items to throw in your bag for the day, cravings you might have, odd cravings, salty foods, sweet foods,

Tip: My go to meal for 2019:
Ramen Soup: Ramen, miso soup, dash of seasoning (my own or just a little of the seasoning pack it comes with), sriracha, dried seaweed.
This held me down so many times especially at night when I was hungry and it was delicious.

**** Leave No Trace. This is Burning Man. Leaving the playa as clean as possible is the mission of Burning Man. This means being mindful of everything you bring and use. For food items, try your best to consolidate. Find ways to leave as much wrapping from food as possible. Be mindful of seeds and peels of fruit.
Please keep Leave no trace at the top of your radar. take a ziplock bag for moop (trash) you see on the playa and be a good citizen and pick it up.
